Made from pure beeswax, this lantern creates a lovely effect with light shining through the beeswax. A tea light is placed in the centre of the bowl, on top of decorative media. The lantern will not melt from the heat of the tea light, as a tea light can not reach the temperature required to melt the beeswax shell. The lantern comes complete with the tea light and glass or ceramic holder plus, sand or dried lavender/rosebuds to use as a base for the tea light to further protect the beeswax lantern. Each lantern is carefully crafted by hand to an average size of 130mm at widest point.
These lanterns can also be floated in a pool or pond to create subtle lighting effect.
